Halloween Make-It Book
Make this fun Halloween book with your students. They can read it themselves and take it home to share. The book follows the pattern of the Brown Bear book, with the unique idea of cutting out eyes to make a mask on each page for children to look through. Directions:
1. Copy the pages on white paper.
2. Cut sheets in half and staple to form a book.
3. Carefully cut the ghost eyes out through pages 1-5.
4. Have child draw a self-portrait or a character he/she would like to be.
5. When the book is finished, the child can hold it in fron of her face so that her/his eyes look out the eyes in all the masks.
